MINUTES OF OKEFORD FITZPAINE ANNUAL PARISH MEETING
HELD IN THE PAVILION ON TUESDAY 21ST MARCH 2000

In attendance:- Mrs D Burt (clerk), Cllr M Bignell (NDDC) and four members of the public.
1) Apologies Cllrs Nelson and Thorne.
2) The minutes of March 23rd 1999, having been circulated to councillors and notice boards, were taken as read. It was proposed by Cllr Trowbridge and seconded by Cllr Mrs Calcott that they be signed by the chairman this was agreed.
3) Chairman�s report – see appendix (i)
Cllr Trowbridge commended the chairman on his report and congratulated him and his volunteers for initiating and helping to run the Youth Club.
4) Open session
Cllr Bignell felt that a survey of parishioners would be useful to find out what additional facilities were needed and volunteered to put together a draft questionnaire for council approval.
Mr Loving was concerned about the continuing problem of litter around the village, it was reported that members of the Youth Club were taking part in the Annual National Spring Clean in April which would ease the problem in the short term.
There being no further business the chairman closed the meeting at 7-46pm.
