It was a family affair at the Village Hall when three generations of the Burt family got together to construct and plant a new border garden in front of the new extension.
The new planting brings a touch of colour to the building, which itself was completed by volunteers a few months earlier. Diane, Mike, Melanie and James Burt transported new topsoil to the hall along with a varied selection of flowers and shrubs, some of which were grown by Mel.
Once again, the work of volunteers in the village improve our environment for everyone.
