OKEFORD FITZPAINE PARISH COUNCIL
MINUTES OF THE A.G.M.OF OKEFORD FITZPAINE HELD ON AT THE PAVILION ON AT 7.30 PM ON TUESDAY 10 MAY 2011
Present: - Cllr Burt Cllr S Corben Cllr R Corben Cllr Frampton Cllr Wood
Also present: Mrs Deary (Clerk) and 6 Members of the public.
1. APOLOGIES: Cllr Burch, NDDC, Cllr Paine and Cllr Fox 2. ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN: The Chairman called for nominations. Cllr R Corben proposed and Cllr S Corben seconded Cllr M Burt. There were no other nominations. Cllr M Burt was duly elected for the coming year.
3. ELECTION OF VICE CHAIRMAN: The Chairman called for nominations. Cllr R Corben proposed and Cllr S Corben seconded Cllr Fox. There were no other nominations. Cllr Fox was duly elected for the coming year.
4. COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVE’S TO OTHER BODIES Village Hall Management Committee – Cllr Frampton proposed and Cllr Wood seconded Cllr Burt DAPTC – Cllr R Corben proposed and Cllr S Corben seconded Cllr Burt & Cllr Wood. Poor Lands Charity Committee – Cllr S Corben proposed and Cllr Wood seconded Cllrs Frampton and R Corben All of the above were agreed.
5. OTHER REPRESENTATIVES Home Watch co-ordinator – Cllr M Wood Rights of Way Liaison/Footpath Officer – Cllr Paine Youth Club – No nominations Football Club – Cllr S Corben Local Public Transport – Mrs A Calcott Cllr Burt proposed and Cllr S Corben seconded that all of the above be elected en bloc, this was agreed. Cllr Burt advised that he would place an advert in the Parish Magazine for a representative for the Youth Club. 6. A.O.B. Cllr Burch had requested a liaison representative be appointed to work with the school governors. Mrs Deary was asked to write to the school governors to enquire if they wish a representative be appointed to attend the school governors meetings.
There being no further business proper to the AGM, the Chairman closed the meeting at 7.40 pm. .
