Many are listed buildings and as such are protected as is the High Pavement in front of the Old Rectory. Set in the wall of no 75 The Cross is the door of the former Village Prison complete with a narrow barred window. Nearby is The Royal Oak the one remaining of five public houses that used to serve Okeford.
